Produced by the Perth Mint, the 1/10 oz Australian Gold Kangaroo is composed of .9999 fine gold. Each coin has a diameter of 16mm with a thickness of 1.5mm.
The reverse features a bounding kangaroo leaping across the Outback. AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO as well as the mint mark, year of mintage, weight and fineness are engraved.
The obverse features Ian Rank-Broadley’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA and 15 DOLLARS are also inscribed.

First of all i would like to say that this gold coin looks absolutely beautiful in person. In my opinion the 2015 design for the kangaroo looks better than last years. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that this coin came in a coin capsule instead of a slip. I don't know if it was provident or the perth mint that included this but it was a nice touch. The only downside i would see to this coin is how hard it is to see the mint year and gold purity of the coin. You would have to buy a magnifier to get a better look at the text but the details of the kangaroo itself are easily visible as well as the details to the queen. Its hard to believe that no one is getting this coin but oh well. I highly recommend this gold coin."
