The obverse design of the 2015 Australian Colorized Lunar Baby Goat 1/2 oz Silver Coin features Ian Rank-Broadleys right-profile portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This image was imagined in 1998 and has been used on British and commonwealth coinage since. It is the fourth-generation portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth since she ascended to the throne in 1952.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2015 Australian Colorized Lunar Baby Goat 1/2 oz Silver Coin features the adorable image of a shimmering baby goat shown standing with his front legs upon a bag of holiday gifts. The bag itself is beautifully colorized, which adds an interesting design touch to the coin.
