Each 2016 American Buffalo 1 oz Gold Coin will arrive in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Individual orders will arrive in protective plastic flips while larger orders will arrive in tubes of 20. This is the 11th coin to be released in the overall series.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2016 Buffalo 1 oz Gold Coin presents a composite image of influential Native American leaders, paying homage to their legacy and impact. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, 2016, and F.
Reverse
On the reverse, the 2016 American Buffalo Gold Coin immortalizes the enduring image of Black Diamond, the iconic bison from New York City’s Central Park Zoo, originally designed in 1913 and refined over time. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, E PLURIBUS UNUM, $50, and 1 OZ .9999 FINE GOLD.
History
The inception of the American Gold Buffalo in 2006 marked a historic moment as the United States Mint’s first .9999 pure gold coin. Inspired by the classic Buffalo Nickel from 1913, artist James Earle Fraser’s design stands as a testament to American artistry.
Ordering
When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.

This coin is gorgeous. Smaller in size than I thought it would be but love the design and the luster this coin has. A piece of old school w/ new school shine. Price was just right @ the time of purchase. The coin along w/ my other products came as fast as expected for paying by check and indiscreetly shipped w/ great packaging. This coin was shipped double wrapped. I will continue to purchase these coins as they are a top notch bullion coin. Thank you PM."
