As the wife of Odin, father of the gods, it is important to note that she is not the mother of Odins famous son, Thor. Other than Odin, she is the only other Norse God that is allowed to sit on the throne of Hlisdkialf. In this image, you can see Frigg with a spindle, which allows her to spin the threads of fate.
