The crime fighting superhero looks better than ever on the 2016 Canadian Silver Maple Superman S-Shield – First Day of Issue | NGC MS69. The round is composed of 1 troy oz .9999 fine silver and is a qualified way to diversify your silver bullion collection and self-directed precious metals IRA.
The Superman themed reverse features the iconic “S” shield above the micro-engraved maple leaf privy mark, “FINE SILVER”, “1 OZ”, and “ARGENT PUR” are also inscribed. The coin’s fineness- 9999 is inscribed on either side of the S-shield. “CANADA” borders the top of the coin, and radial lines help create a more secure coin against counterfeiting.
The obverse features an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, the current reigning monarch of the Commonwealth of Nations. Below her is the inscription “2016 5 DOLLARS,” giving this coin the highest face value of silver rounds in its class.
This special first day of issue, limited mintage coin is NGC slabbed and certified with a near perfect coin grade of mint state 69.
