The 2017 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle is a great addition to your precious metals collection. This gold bullion round is made of 1/10 troy ounce of .9167 fine gold. Produced by the US Mint, Gold Eagles are eligible for a Precious Metals IRA. The gold used to make these coins is sourced from the United State of America, alloyed with other metals for added strength.
The Gold Eagle’s obverse features Augustus Sant-Gaudens’ Lady Liberty centered in front of a rising sun. She holds her iconic torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other, wearing a beautifully draped gown. Inscriptions, circled by a ring of stars, read “LIBERTY” and “2017.”
On the reverse, you’ll see a beautiful image of American Bald Eagles designed by Miley Busiek. A male eagle in flight, carrying an olive branch, returns to the nest in which his mate and chick reside. This side also contains the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the coin’s weight and monetary value.
The US Mint, created by the Coinage Act of 1792, produces all US legal tender bullion. The Gold Bullion Act of 1985 authorized the American Gold Eagles, which began production in 1986.
Each Golden Eagle will be shipped in brilliant uncirculated condition as received from the Mint, individually protected in plastic flips. Quantities of 50 gold coins come in Mint packaging.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
