Like most bullion coins produced by the Royal Canadian Mint, the obverse of the Palladium Maple Leaf features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This design by Ian Rank-Broadley is the fifth portrait of her majesty to grace RCM coinage, marking her long, successful reign. This side also features the year of issue and denomination.
The reverse features the iconic lone maple leaf design that is seen across the Maple Leaf bullion product line. You’ll also find inscriptions of the weight and purity, along with a maple leaf-shaped privy mark micro-engraved with the number “17” in the center, denoting the year of issue. A background of precisely machined radial lines creates a unique light diffracting pattern, providing the Royal Canadian Mint’s signature measure of security and authentication.
The Palladium Maple Leaf is the Royal Canadian Mint’s first palladium product and it was the world’s first regularly-issued palladium bullion coin. Production for the Palladium Maple Leaf began in 2005, with limited quantities struck between then and 2010. The coin returned to production in 2015. It joins the family of Maple Leaf bullion coins that have become treasured around the globe for their purity, quality, and security.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
