Obverse

Inscriptions on the obverse read 50 YUAN (yuan is written in Chinese characters) and 150G AG .999.

Reverse
The reverse of all Chinese Panda coins is common and includes an exterior image of the historic Temple of Heavenspecifically the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests. The temple is located in what is now Beijing and has an important place in Chinese history and religion. The image is surrounded by a border with the inscriptions PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA (in Chinese characters) and 2017.
