Obverse
On the obverse of 2017 American Eagle Silver Coin, discover the timeless Walking Liberty image, designed by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916. Revered as one of the finest coin designs in American history, it originally adorned the Walking Liberty Half Dollar from 1916 to 1947.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2017 Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin features the heraldic eagle of the United States, a design with roots dating back to 1794. Crafted in 1986 by John Mercanti, then-Chief Engraver of the US Mint, this image pays homage to the nation’s rich coinage history.
History
Produced by the United States Mint, with primary production at the West Point Mint for bullion versions and support from the San Francisco Mint to meet demand, these coins embody quality and tradition.

Why didn?t I start stacking years ago?!! Only one small complaint...it takes so long for all the check clearing and shipping process. I was anxiously waiting, and waiting. Already placed two more orders of the 2017 ASE?s on sale, and again, the waiting is killing me. Overall, great product."
