Provident Metals is pleased to offer the 2017 British Gold Sovereign Coin from a diverse selection of foreign gold coins. This year is the 200th anniversary of the British Gold Sov, making it one of the longest coins in production. Each round weighs 0.2354 troy ounces, and consists of 0.9167 fine gold. These gold coins are minted by the British Royal Mint, and guaranteed by the British government.
The reverse of the Gold Sovereign was designed by Benedetto Pistrucci, and features St. George on horseback slaying a dragon. The reverse also features the inscription “2017”, and a redesigned shield mintmark with a “200” inscribed above the shield.
The obverse features a right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, and the inscriptions “REGINA”, “FID”, “DEF”, “ELIZABETH II”, “DEI”, and “GRA”.
The 2017 Gold Sov will ship in Brilliant Uncirculated condition in a plastic flip. Quantities of 25 ship in a plastic tube from the mint.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
