Designed by Jody Clark, this right-profile bust shows the Queen at the age of 89 wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown with her image set against a backdrop of hammered design elements.
Reverse

History
The Red Dragon of Wales was popular with many previous British monarchs. The Red Dragon came to the Royal Arms through Owen Tudor, the man who was grandfather to King Henry VII. It is said that Henry VIIs armies carried a battle standard with the Red Dragon, while the Royal Navy under his son, King Henry VIII, ran a battle standard up the mast with a Red Dragon featured on it.
