The coins in this listing will all arrive in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition. Coins in this condition will show no signs of wear and tear, but they might have minor flaws such as breaks in the luster, spotted surfaces, and contact marks created during the production process.
Obverse
The obverse of all 2017 Australian Koala Kangaroo Privy 1 oz Silver Coins features the right-profile image for Queen Elizabeth II. She appears on the obverse of all Australian coinage and has since 1952. The design used on these coins was created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley.
Reverse
On the reverse face of these coins, you will see the 11th design in the Australian Silver Koala series. In this design, a mature koala is seen sitting at the base of a eucalyptus tree. These trees create the primary food source for koalas. The Kangaroo privy mark is seen to the left of the Koala design.
History
The Silver Koala program started in 2007. This series was part of the expansion of Perth Mints annual silver bullion release programs, which began in 1990 with the Australian Kookaburra coins. Over the past ten years, there have been ten new koala designs from Perth Mint.

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
