He created this effigy of the Queen in 1998 for the Royal Mint of England and it was used on Australian coins from 1999 to 2018. Reverse

History

Copper pennies were first introduced in Australia in 1911, but the famous leaping kangaroo didnt come to the coins until 1932. From 1938 until the end of copper penny coining, the kangaroo was featured on the coin with the commonwealth star of Australia in the design.
