The NGC graded Early Release 2017 1 oz American Silver Eagle offers value to your silver bullion collection. Each coin has received a perfect MS70 grade from NGC. Silver Eagles are among the world’s most high quality bullion coins. Each of these graded coins is made of one troy ounce of .999 fine silver and sealed in a protective slab.
In addition to the Scales of Justice on the slab’s label, you will also find text that reads “2017 EAGLE $1,” “EARLY RELEASES,” and “MS 70.” A certification of Mint State 70 by the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC) indicates that a coin is in perfect condition.
The obverse of the ASE, designed by Adolph A. Weinman, features Lady Liberty stepping toward a sunrise with an American flag sitting on her shoulders. She holds laurel and oak in her arms. Inscriptions read “LIBERTY,” “2017,” and “IN GOD WE TRUST.”
An eagle perches behind a shield on the reverse, designed by John Mercanti. It carries a banner in its beak that says “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” while holding arrows and an olive branch in its talons. Thirteen stars rest above the eagle’s head. Inscriptions around the rim read “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”
