The coins in this listing were all sent to NGC within 30 days of their release for grading. This gives them the Early Release designation. All of these coins were given an MS69 grade, which means that they will have all of their original mint luster with a maximum of only two minor detracting flaws that are limited to just hairlines and contact marks.
Obverse
On the obverse of all Queens Beast coins, youll see Jody Clarks fifth-generation portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in right-profile view. In this image, the Queen is 89 years old. The image was created in 2015 to replace Ian Rank-Broadleys 1998 design.
Reverse
The reverse side of these coins features the image of the Black Bull of Clarence. In the image, he is standing tall like a statue that stood outside of the building during Queen Elizabeth IIs coronation ceremony. The bull is shown standing over the Royal Arms of Edward III. In two quadrants, the shield showcases three gold lions of England, and in the others, you will see the golden lilies of France.
History
The Black Bull of Clarence was a design picked by the Duke of Clarence. Edward II used the bull in his Royal Arms. In the Queens Beast Collection, the bull is the fifth design. The coins in the series are available in gold, silver, and platinum.
