Founded in 1892 by Asa Griggs Candler, the Coca-Cola Company has grown from a humble soft drink with an uncertain niche in the market to become the leading soft drink brand in the world in the 21st century. The formula for Coca-Cola was actually developed in 1886 by John Pemberton and sold to Candler three years later. The iconic Coca-Cola bottle cap is recognizable by anyone around the world and is now available as a distinctive legal tender silver coin from Fiji. Right now, you can purchase the 2018 Fiji Coca-Cola Bottle Cap 6 Gram Silver Coins online at Provident Metals.

Obverse
A Coca-Cola bottle cap is recreated in the design of the obverse field on 2018 Fiji Coca-Cola Bottle Cap 6 Gram Silver Coins. The obverse is designed to look just like the top of a Coke bottle cap from a glass bottle of the world-famous soft drink. The design includes a red field with the white, script lettering of Coca-Cola. This design was created by Candler in 1892 when he formed the Coca-Cola Company and it has not changed in the nearly 130 years since then.
Reverse
The Fijian coat of arms is found on the reverse of the 2018 Fiji Coca-Cola Bottle Cap 6 Gram Silver Coin. The design includes a quartered shield that has the quadrants separated by the cross of St. George. The quadrants include, in order, sugarcane, the coconut palm, a dove with an olive branch, and a bushel of bananas. There is a golden lion at the top of the shield with a cocoa pod in its paws and a canoe with Outrigger attachment is above the shield itself. Native Fijian figures support the shield on either side. Inscriptions include Fiji 2018, 6 g, .999 Fine Silver, and 1 Dollar.
History
Pemberton created the formula for Coca-Cola in 1886 as a tonic to help Civil War veterans and others addicted to morphine. He sold the formula to Candler in 1889 for $2,300. As of 2018, Coca-Cola had total assets of $83.21 billion.
