Your 2019 Antigua & Barbuda Rum Runner 1 oz Silver Coin is delivered to you in brilliant uncirculated (BU) condition. Single coins are enclosed within protective capsules. Multiples of five are delivered inside skin boards that can be separated without unsealing the individual coins. Multiples of 125 coins are delivered to you in a cardboard clamshell box.

The 2018 release of the EC8 program includes four versions of each of the eight designs in the series. These versions include silver bullion, gold bullion, silver proof colorized, and gold colorized options. The 2019 Antigua & Barbuda Rum Runner 1 oz Silver Coin depicts a large ship at sea with, barrels of rum stacked on a sandy beach in the foreground.

Obverse

The obverse design of the 2019 Antigua & Barbuda Rum Runner 1 oz Silver Coin features the fourth-generation effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The portrait was created in 1998 by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley. Her Majestys effigy is flanked by large fern leaves and the top rocker of the design field includes the name of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, the backer of the coins face value.

Reverse

The reverse of the 2019 Antigua & Barbuda Rum Runner 1 oz Silver Coin features the 2019 design made for the second release of the EC8 coins. The 2019 design depicts a rum-running ship tied up at port. Several barrels of rum are stacked on the docks. In the foreground, a sailor gazes through his scope to look out on the horizon.

The EC8 Series represents the eight member nations of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. They are Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Antigua & Barbuda, Anguilla, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
