Introduced in 2011 at the epic high of the silver market, the Armenian Noahs Ark Silver Coin is among the newer annual-release coins in the bullion market. The series features the same obverse and reverse designs each year, with Mount Ararat featured prominently in both of the design fields of the coin. Today, you have the opportunity to purchase 2019 Armenian Noahs Ark 1 oz Silver Coins online at Provident Metals.
Noahs ark is one of the most famous tales from the bible. God, having grown weary of the idolatry of mankind, has decided to send a flood to cover the entire planet and wash away the sins of mankind by killing all of the people. Only Noah and his family are chosen to survive, along with two of every animal species so that the world can be repopulated. To survive the 40 days and 40 nights of rain, Noah was instructed by God to build a very specific ark.
On the obverse face of 2019 Armenian Noahs Ark 1 oz Silver Coins is a depiction of the national coat of arms. The Republic of Armenia boasts a quartered shield in its coat of arms that includes a smaller shield at the center with a depiction of Noahs ark resting at the top of Mount Ararat. The shield is supported by an eagle on the left and a lion on the right. Inscriptions identify the nation of issue as Republic of Armenia at the bottom in English, with the same name in Armenian at the top. The face value of 500 Dram is shown, along with 1 oz Ag 999.
The reverse field of the 2019 Armenian Noahs Ark 1 oz Silver Coin boasts a depiction of the ark of Noah floating on the floodwaters. The rains have ended, but the waters have not yet receded as the sun rises over Mount Ararat in the distance. A dove flies back to the ark with an olive branch in its talons, signifying that dry land has been found. Noahs Ark has been engraved on this face of the coin.
The Armenian Noahs Ark Series was introduced in 2011 with a 1 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1/4 oz silver coin. One year later, the mint behind the series significantly expanded the series to include four more coins over 1 oz silver in weight. These included 5 oz, 10 oz, 1 Kilo, and 5 Kilo silver coins. All seven versions of the coin are still available to this day.
2019 Armenian Noahs Ark 1 oz Silver Coins are available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The coins are packaged individually inside of protective plastic flips and available in multiples of 20 coins with mint tubes.
