Obverse
On the obverse side of each specimen in the 2019 Canadian MapleGram 25 Gram Gold specimen is the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen is depicted in right-profile relief in a design created by Susanna Blunt in 2003. This is just the second effigy from a Canadian artist and the first since the reign of King George VI to depict the monarch without a crown.
Reverse
