History

The Lunar Series II collection from the Perth Mint ran from 2008 to 2019. These 2019 Australian Lunar Pig Silver Coins marked the conclusion of the series and continued the use of the Ian Rank-Broadley 1998 design of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse even though all other major Perth Mint coin programs had switched to the latest sixth-generation effigy from Jody Clark for 2019 date marks.
