Reverse

The reverse side of the coin features both a young and adult swan swimming in a pond. In the background, there is another swan swimming. These black swans are members of the only swan species that exist in Australia.

History

The Perth Mint is one of two mints in Australia. While this mint used to be associated with the Royal Mint, now it isnt the mint that creates circulation coins for Australia. That task is given to the Royal Australian Mint, which is located in Western Australia.
