This right-profile portrait was commissioned by the Royal Mint of England. Famed sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley completed the portrait in 1998.
Reverse Design
The reverse design of the 2019 Tuvalu Star Trek The Original Series Captain Kirk 1 oz Silver Coin Proof boasts a colorized design of actor William Shatner in his most iconic role, as Captain Kirk. Kirk is shown on the bridge of his starship, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, with Jupiter and several of its moons visible out of the window.
