The obverse of the Gold Hanbando medallion features a field of symbols in the shape of the Korean penninsula. REPUBLIC OF KOREA, 1 OZ FINE GOLD 999, KOMSCO, and HANBANDO, as well as the KOMSCO mintmark, are also inscribed.
The reverse features sun rays radiating out from a yin yang symbol containing KOMSCO’s “999” latent security engraving. 2019, and KOREA are also inscribed.

These coins arrived in perfect condition in side their own case. I am surprised these have not sold out yet. The only difference between a .999 and a .9999 coins is about 1 dollar in gold. Ask yourself if it makes sense to spend $55 over spot to purchase an American Gold Eagle that is .9167 (22k) gold. The people on this website are buying gold for the same reason I am, and it is not for a hobby. We know what is going to happy soon and we need to buy the most amount of gold and the best quality and a reasonable price and this coin is perfect for that purpose."
