The obverse features the Taegeuk, which in Korean culture represents the idea of the universe. This design features Yang (top) & Eum (bottom) representing the mutual harmony of nature. KOMSCO’s “999” latent security engraving, 2019, and KOREA are also inscribed.
The reverse features a man performing a high kick in the sport of Taekwondo. The motion of his kick is illustrated in a mirrored swirl that ends at the point of contact. A footprint, representing the marks that are often made on an opponent from these powerful kicks, is also featured. TAEKWONDO and 1 OZ FINE GOLD 999 is also inscribed.

only 1500 coins made?.. too bad i only bought 2.... large diameter round compared to ...say...a gold panda.... takes some time to get into the whole swirl kick but if ur a fan u will like this coin.... i liked the price mostly..lol. This was actually cheaper than bars at the time so it was a no brainer...thanks provident. u have become my preferred bullion dealer. Unlike most sites u actually post deals....got my gold panda here too....."
