The obverse side of the 2019 South Korean Zi:Sin Scrofa 10 oz Silver Medal includes the depiction of Do ggae bi on the shield of Chiwoo Cheonwang. This design is the third in the collection and captures the image of the hobgoblin-like figure with his grotesque appearance on full display. Do ggae bi is believed to have the power to ward off evil spirits and was once hung from the edge of home roofing tiles to keep evil out of the house. Chiwoo used this grotesque figure to frighten his enemies in battle.
