Obverse

Augustus Saint-Gaudens designed the image of Liberty featured on the obverse of 2020 American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold coins in 1907. It was originally intended for use in a high-relief strike, but was eventually struck on the $20 Gold Double Eagle in standard relief. The design on the modern American Eagle Gold Coin features Liberty with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left hand as she walks away from the US Capitol Building in Washington D.C.

Reverse

Miley Busiek created the unique and exclusive design of American bald eagles on the reverse of the 2020 American Eagle Gold Coins in 1986. Her artwork features a male bald eagle flying over the nest as a female eagle guards a young hatchling in the nest below.

History

American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Eagle coins have the highest single-year mintage in the history of the program. The 1999 release of American Eagle 1/10 oz Gold Eagle coins had a mintage of 2.75 million. This is by far the highest mintage in a single year, surpassing the 1.55 million coin issued in the 1 oz gold weight that same year.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. Can I choose the method of shipping?

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.

Will I need to sign for my package?

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

What about International Orders?

Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
