2020 American Eagle 1/2 oz Gold Coins in this listing have a Mint State 69 certification from the NGC. These coins are considered near-perfect and showcase full, original mint luster as well as two minor detracting flaws. Acceptable flaws at this grade include minuscule contact marks or hairlines found outside of the primary focal points of the coin. Also included with this coin is an Early Release label. This means the coins were received by the NGC or an approved third-party within the 30-day window following the US Mints release of 2020 American Eagle Gold Coins.

Obverse

The obverse face of 2020 American Eagle 1/2 oz Gold Coins bears a depiction of Lady Liberty from Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Used by the US Mint on the $20 Gold Double Eagle from 1907 to 1933, the Liberty image depicts her front-facing full figure as she walks away from Washington D.C. with the US Capitol Building at her feet, a torch in her right hand, and an olive branch in her left.

Reverse

On the reverse of 2020 American Eagle 1/2 oz Gold Coins, you will find a family of American bald eagles. The image includes three eagles in all with a male flying over the nest that holds a female eagle and young hatchling. The design was created specifically for this series by Miley Busiek in 1986.
