Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is named for a group of owners that have controlled the land in Vermont now protected by the US National Park Service. Established in 1992, the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park was originally a privately-managed forest that was only recently transferred to the control of the federal government in 1992 by the Rockefeller family.
