Obverse
On the obverse of the 2020 Gilded Chinese Panda 30 Gram Silver Coins, you will find the Song Lina design for 2020. This image captures a young panda cub lying on its back in a field. The panda is beneath a tree branch full of bamboo leaves and has bamboo leaves in its left paw as it dines on its favorite food. The 24-karat gilded gold layer is on this face of the coin and is applied only to the Giant Panda cub.
Reverse
The reverse side of 2020 Gilded Chinese Panda 30 Gram Silver Coins features the outer faade of the building known as the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. This building is the central structure of the Temple of Heaven Complex. The buildings in this complex were constructed between 1406 and 1420 in the south-central neighborhoods of Beijing.

Chinese Panda 30 Gram Silver coins debuted in bullion 1989 with a 1 oz silver coin. The coins were produced in 1 Troy oz of silver from 1989 to 2015. In 2016, the Chinese Mint transitioned all the coins in the Chinese Panda Silver and Gold bullion collections to Grams.
