The obverse face of 2020 Mexican Libertad Silver Coins comes with the vision of the Angel of Independence. Based on the depictions of the goddess Victoria, this figure is also known as Winged Victory. She stands tall atop the Mexican Independence Victory Column and holds out a wreath crown in one hand as she clutches broken chains in the other hand.

On the reverse side of the 2020 Mexican Libertad 1/10 oz Silver Coin is the modern national emblem of Mexico. The national coat of arms features an eagle on a cactus branch as it struggles to control a snake. The name Estados Unidos Mexicanos is inscribed above the seal while a wreath frames it below.

Mexican Libertad 1/10 oz Silver Coins debuted in 1991 along with the 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/20 oz coins. In most years, the 1/10 oz silver coin is one of the best-sellers in the series next to the 1/20 oz and 1 oz silver coins. The 2019 mintage of the Mexican Libertad 1/10 oz Silver coin came in a total of 7,200 coins.

All Mexican Libertad Silver Coins are a product of the Mexican Mint. Founded in 1535 by the Spanish conquerors of the region, it once coined Spanish colonial currency for the whole of the Western Hemisphere. Today, it is the sovereign mint of Mexico.
