Obverse
The obverse face of each 2020 Niue Hogwarts House Gryffindor 5 Gram Silver Foil features the popular right-profile bust of Queen Elizabeth II. Designed in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley, its original use was on British coins from 1998 to 2015. It has been used on both Australian and Commonwealth coins dating to 1999, though Australian coins were updated to a new portrait of the Queen in 2019.
Reverse
On the reverse side of 2020 Niue Hogwarts House Gryffindor Silver Foils is the house banner for Gryffindor. The house crest includes a lion with a background of red flames. In this design, you will find other elements of the lion such as the shadow of a roaring lion in the lower-right corner, a lions eye above the crest, and the sword of Godric Gryffindor along the right side of the crest.
