American Eagle Silver bullion coins are both the most sought-after coins in the world and among the most beautiful coins in the world. The designs on the American Eagle Silver Coins date back more than 100 years in American history, with the obverse design dating to 1916 and the reverse inspired by a design from 1792. Provident Metals now has 2020 (S) American Eagle Silver Monster Boxes available to you for purchase online.
When you buy the 2020 (S) American Eagle Silver Monster Box in this product listing at Provident Metals, you receive 500 silvers coins in Brilliant Uncirculated condition that are packaged inside of US Mint Monster Boxes. The coins are packaged inside of 25 acrylic tubes with a total of 20 coins per tube, with each tube bearing a green lid with the US Mint seal on it.
The obverse side of 2020 (S) American Eagle Silver Coins includes an image of Walking Liberty. Created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman for the United States Mint and originally used on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar from 1916 to 1947. The image shows Liberty walking toward the sun on the horizon as it crests a mountain peak. Inscriptions on this face of the coin read Liberty, In God We Trust, and 2020.
On the reverse face of the 2020 (S) American Eagle Silver Coins is a depiction of the modern heraldic eagle of the United States. Modified for this series in 1986 by John Mercanti, the former 12th Chief Engraver of the United States Mint. The symbol features an American bald eagle with the US national shield on its chest and a ribbon in its beak that reads E Pluribus Unum. The eagle’s talons clutch the olive branch of peace and arrows of war. Above its head is a triangular cluster of 13 stars. The inscriptions on this side of the coin include United States of America and 1 oz Fine Silver One Dollar.
The American Eagle Silver Coin was introduced in 1986 by the US Mint and originally struck at the branch facility at the San Francisco Mint from 1986 to 1998. Since 2011, when supplemental coining is required to meet demand for the Silver Eagle, the San Francisco Mint has stepped forward to produce additional volumes of the coin.
