Obverse

The obverse of the 2020-W Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin has Walking Libertys figure. She is depicted here in left-profile relief with one hand outstretched toward the horizon and the other holding branches of oak and laurel. It was designed in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman and used on the half dollar from 1916 to 1947.

Reverse

On the reverse of the 2020 Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin is a depiction of the modern heraldic eagle of the United States. This seal was first developed in 1794 and modernized for this series in 1986 by John Mercanti.

History

Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins have low mintage figures and, in the case of these certified coins, extremely low availability. Few coins earn the perfect certification with these additional labels.

Ordering

These 2020-W Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins are PR70 specimens with full, original mint luster and no detracting flaws. DCAM coins have strong, frosted design elements and deeply-mirrored, clear background fields. First Strike coins are those that arrived for grading within the first 30 days following release by the US Mint.
