This design shows the bald eagles head in left-profile relief with incredible levels of detail to capture the life-like image of the national symbol. History

The all-new Type 2 release in the American Eagle Gold Series features a bald eagle design from Jennie Norris. Ms. Norris is a member of the Artistic Infusion Program at the United States Mint.
