The 2021 release of American Eagle Silver Coins comes with Type 1 and Type 2 versions. The US Mint started the production cycle of 2021 coins with the Type 1 visuals, or the original design combinations. The Type 2 coins with a new reverse bald eagle design are now available to investors and collectors that cherish this series. Right now, 2021 American Eagle 1 oz Silver 2-Coin Sets are available to purchase online at Provident Metals in near-perfect condition.
With your purchase of the 2021 American Eagle 1 oz Silver 2-Coin Set at Provident Metals, you will receive one of each of the new 2021 American Eagle Silver Coins in near-perfect condition. The Mint State 69 certification given to each coin indicates that each one exhibits full, original mint luster with no more than two minor detractions present. Acceptable flaws at this level include only minuscule contact marks or hairlines located outside of the primary focal points.
This two-coin slab has a special Eagle label that shows a bald eagle soaring across the two labels in the slab. With the Type 1 and Type 2 coin in this slab, both reverse fields are arranged facing outward together on the side with the Eagle label.
Walking Liberty is found on the obverse side of 2021 American Eagle Silver Coins. The design from Adolph A. Weinman is the obverse of both coins. You will notice that the Type 2 coins obverse is enhanced with the inclusion of Weinmans original signature mark of AW from the 1916 design. Inscriptions on both include Liberty, In God We Trust, and 2021.
For the reverse of the 2021 American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins, you will find two different visuals. The Type 1 coins show the John Mercanti version of the heraldic eagle of the United States. The Type 2 coins have the new design from Emily Damstra with a bald eagle swooping into view clutching an oak branch in its talons. The inscriptions on this face read United States of America, E Pluribus Unum, 1 oz. Fine Silver, and One Dollar.
The new Type 2 design brings a refresh to the reverse of the American Eagle Silver Coin for the first time in its history. Ms. Damstras design was chosen from a selection of more than 30 possible designs to be the face of the coins.
