Obverse
The obverse of 2021 Antique Rwandan Sedov Nautical Ounce 3 oz Coins features the Sedov sailing across the sea. This is a beautiful artistic rendering that really captures the scale of this historical four-masted barque. The image also includes a compass and other nautical equipment. Youll also find inscriptions that read NAUTICAL OUNCE, 2021, 3 OZ, FINE SILVER .999.
Reverse
On the reverse field of the 2021 Rwandan Sedov Nautical Ounce Silver Coin is the Rwandan seal. At the top of the seal is the sun, and beneath it is a woven basket with a coffee branch and sorghum stem on either side. Inscribed along the edges are the words BANKI NKURU YU RWANDA, AMAFARANGA IGIHUMBI, 1000.
History
The Nautical Ounce series is a fan favorite thanks to its low mintages and beautiful designs. The series began in 2017 with a design featuring the Santa Maria. The following two years saw the release of the Endeavor and the Victoria respectively. In 2020, the mint issued the Mayflower design, and in 2021 the 5th coin arrived with the STS Sedov. The series is a reminder of great ships and the important role they have played in the gradual development of civilization.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
