The final release of the America the Beautiful Series from the United States Mint honors the Tuskegee Airmen who fought with distinction in World War II in the skies over Europe. The men and women who trained near the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama became known as Tuskegee Airmen. The unit was an all-African-American squadron of pilots, navigators, and bombardiers, as well as all the support staff needed to stand-up the squadron. The obverse side of 2021 ATB Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site 5 oz Silver Coins comes with a depiction of President George Washington. The first Commander-in-Chief is shown in left-profile relief in a design created in 1932 by John Flanagan. The inscriptions on this face of the coin include United States of America, Liberty, In God We Trust, and Quarter Dollar.

Reverse

On the reverse face of 2021 ATB Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site Silver Coins is a design honoring the Tuskegee Airmen. Here, an individual airman is shown as he prepares for a training flight at Moton Field, one of the three training sites around Tuskegee, Alabama, where African-American airmen and support forces trained to fight in World War II. Inscriptions on this side read Tuskegee Airmen, Alabama, 2021, E Pluribus Unum, and They Fought Two Wars.

History

The Tuskegee Airmen served with distinction in World War II. While the two all-African-American units stood up by the United States Military during the war. Though Tuskegee was the site of training for pilots, navigators, and bombardiers, it also trained support forces such as mechanics, instructors, crew chiefs, nurses, and support personnel.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.

When will my order ship?

Can I choose the method of shipping?

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.

Will I need to sign for my package?

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

What about International Orders?

Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
