The helmet at the top of the shield has a hand rising up from its center and is clutching a sugar cane in its palm. The banner at the bottom includes the national motto of PRIDE AND INDUSTRY. The shield is flanked by the heraldic dolphin and pelican. The inscriptions include 2021 split as 20 and 21 above small trident privy marks, with BARBADOS at the bottom.
