The US Mint first issued 2021-dated coins with the original designs, before later striking the 2021-dated coins with the new reverse design from Emily Damstra. Obverse
Walking Liberty is featured on the obverse of 2021 Colorized American Eagle Silver Type 2 Coins. The design shows Liberty in left-profile relief as she walks toward the sun on the horizon. Her right hand is outstretched toward the sun as she carries the branches of oak and laurel in her left hand. The American flag is draped around her figure. The inscriptions on this side include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, 2021, and the AW signature mark of Adolph A. Weinman, the designer of the Walking Liberty effigy back in 1916.
Reverse
An American bald eagle now features in the reverse field of 2021 Colorized American Eagle 1 oz Silver Type 2 Coins. The bald eagle shown here is swooping into view as it flexes its wings and clutches a large oak branch in its talons. The field has been colorized with the American flag blowing in the breeze behind the eagle. The eagle has been colorized with natural colors that capture its brown plumage throughout its body and white plumage on its tail and head. Inscriptions visible on this side include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER.
History
The all-new design on the reverse of American Eagle Silver Type 2 Coins comes from Emily Damstra. Her design was chosen from a field of more than 30 possible designs to represent the American Eagle Silver Coin in the future. She has previously contributed artwork to the US Mint for the America the Beautiful Series.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
