Obverse
The obverse face of 2021 Colorized Christmas Elephant 1 oz Silver Coins features the national coat of arms. The Somali coat of arms includes a crowned shield that has horizontal lines behind a single star in the center of the design element. The shield is supported on the left and right by leopards, with crossed spears and fern leaves below. The inscriptions on this side include Somali Republic, 2021, and 100 Shillings.
Reverse
On the reverse field of 2021 Colorized Somalia Christmas Elephant Silver Coins is the latest African bush elephant design. In this years design, a large bush elephant is featured in the immediate foreground. Its ears are flapped out to full extension at the side of its head with its head lifted up, tusks pointing straight forward, and trunk extended down.

Somalia Elephant 1 oz Silver coins are offered on an annual basis from the Bavarian State Mint. Located in Munich, the Bavarian State Mint is one of Germanys official national mints and is owned by the government in the Free State of Bavaria.
