Obverse
Liberty is depicted on the obverse of both coin types in the 2021 Morgan and Peace Dollar Silver 6-Coin Set. The Morgan Dollars all show Liberty in left-profile relief with a Phrygian cap, laurel wreath, and coronet crown. The Peace Dollar shows Liberty in left-profile relief with free-flowing hair and a spiked crown.
Reverse
An American bald eagle features on the reverse of each coin in the 2021 Morgan and Peace Dollar Silver 6-Coin Set. The Morgan Dollars feature the heraldic eagle design with a front-facing bald eagle clutching the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace in its talons. The Peace Dollar comes with a design of the eagle at rest as it perches on an olive branch in front of the rising sun.
History
The 2021 Morgan Dollar and Peace Dollar Silver release from the United States Mint featured six coins in total. Morgan Dollars were issued in five versions to represent each branch mint that historically struck the coins. The Philadelphia Mint, San Francisco Mint, and Denver Mint each issued coins to represent their role in the past, with no mint mark on the Philadelphia coins, and S and D mint marks on the other two respective issues. The Philadelphia Mint also issued coins with CC privy marks and O privy marks to honor the now-closed Carson City Mint and New Orleans Mint. The Peace Dollar was struck by Philadelphia.
