Introduced in 1941, Aquaman debuted in the DC Comic universe around the same time as the likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and many others. Often depicted in the early years with powers that were widely mocked, a revision of the Aquaman character gave him greater powers and a more respectable backstory in the eyes of many readers. Provident Metals currently has 2021 Niue Chibi Aquaman Shaped 1 oz Silver Coins available to you for purchase online.
Highlights:
When you purchase one of these 2021 Niue Chibi Aquaman Shaped 1 oz Silver Coins online at Provident Metals, you will receive the coins inside of presentation packaging. Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II is found in the obverse design of 2021 Niue Chibi Aquaman Shaped Silver Coins. This design from Ian Rank-Broadley was created in 1998 for the Royal Mint of England to serve as the fourth-generation effigy of Her Majesty. The design shows Elizabeth II in right-profile relief with the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara on her head. The tiara was a gift to her grandmother, Mary of Teck, when she married King George V. Inscriptions on this face of the coin read ELIZABETH II, NIUE, 2021, 2 DOLLARS, and 1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER.
Reverse
Aquaman is depicted on the reverse face of 2021 Niue Chibi Aquaman Shaped Silver Coins. The colorized designs on this face of the coin capture Aquaman in the traditional gold-and-green suit he wears, with an expressionless face and his slick, blonde hair.
History
Aquaman was introduced in November 1941. During the so-called Silver Age of comics in the 1950s and 1960s, Aquaman was portrayed as a founding member of the Justice League.
