This coin presents a special historical moment from the year 1915. During that time, Nicholas II choose to give his motherwho was named Maria Feodorovnaa special gift of a Faberg Egg. The infamous Red Cross was stamped on the front to represent the fact that Maria, the Empress at the time, had earned merits as a Sister of the Red Cross. Because of this, this timeless Imperial Faberg Egg is featured on this coin, which is also shaped like an egg.
