Queen Elizabeth II is featured on the obverse of 2021 Niue Minion Series Kevin Shaped Silver Coins. The depiction of Her Majesty is a right-profile relief that was designed in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley. She is shown wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara on her head. The portrait comes with inscriptions of ELIZABETH II and NIUE above the Queens effigy, with 2021, 2 DOLLARS, and 1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER below the portrait.
Reverse
Kevin the Minion is found in the reverse design of 2021 Niue Minion Series Kevin Shaped 1 oz Silver Coins. With yellow skin, thick goggles, and blue-jean overalls, Kevin looks a lot like his fellow Minions. However, he does have unique features that include his tall head and sprout-shaped hair.
History
The Minion Series of shaped silver coins launch with an image of the Minion known as Bob. The second coin in the series was Stuart, with Kevin offering the third coin of the collection. Each one of the Minions depicted in the silver coin series reflects the appearance of the Minions from the release of Despicable Me 2 and later films of the franchise. Many of the Minions that came to the forefront in the series had the same names as those from the original film, but different appearances.
