With sustained demand for the American Eagle Silver Coin and an ongoing global pandemic in 2021, the United States Mint has continued to lean on the Philadelphia Mint for emergency assistance in meeting the need for the popular silver bullion coin. In early 2021, the US Mint struck large numbers of 2021-dated American Eagle Silver Coins at the Philadelphia Mint. Now is your chance to own a 2021 (P) American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin with certification and a special 35th-anniversary label from the NGC.
Highlights:
Provident Metals is pleased to offer you the chance to own a near-perfect 2021 (P) American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin from the 35th-anniversary release of the coins. Each one available in this listing has an MS69 grade, meaning that each coin exhibits full, original mint luster and no more than two minor flaws. These detracting flaws are limited in nature to minuscule contact marks or hairlines and limited in scope to those areas outside of the primary focal points of the coin. Each one comes with an Early Release designation indicating its arrival within 30 days of original release, as well as a 35th-anniversary indicator on the card inside the slab.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2021 (P) American Eagle Silver Coin features Adolph A. Weinmans iconic image of Walking Liberty. Created in 1916, it shows Liberty walking in left-profile relief across the design area with her right hand reaching out for the warmth of the sun as her left hand carries branches of oak and laurel. The American flag is draped around her figure. Inscriptions include Liberty, In God We Trust, and 2021.
Reverse
On the reverse side of 2021 (P) American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins is the heraldic eagle of the United States. The first version of this national seal was created in 1794 by Robert Scot for the first-ever US coins issued by the US Mint. This version is the most recent and was modernized in 1986 for this series by John Mercanti. It depicts the bald eagle supporting the US shield while clutching the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace. This is the final date mark that will feature this design. Inscriptions read United States of America, 1 oz. Fine Silver One Dollar, and E Pluribus Unum.
History
As BU American Eagle Silver Coins, there are no mint marks on these specimens. Each one is known to have come from the Philadelphia Mint based on the serial numbers and markings present on the original Monster Boxes the mint shipped the coins to authorized dealers in.
