The American Silver Eagle continues to be the top-selling silver coin in the world. When demand rises, the United States Mint occasionally calls on additional facilities to help produce enough Brilliant Uncirculated coins for investors. In 2020, a mix of staffing shortages, COVID-19-related interruptions, and increased buying activity led the Philadelphia Mint to strike emergency issues of the Silver Eagle. That arrangement remained in place into 2021. Today, certified 2021 (P) American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins with special Bell Labels are available from Provident Metals.

Each 2021 (P) American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin offered here comes secured in a protective slab and includes a Liberty Bell label highlighting its Philadelphia Mint origin. Coins with an MS70 grade have full mint luster and no visible flaws. First Day of Issue coins were submitted to NGC for grading within 24 hours of their initial release from the mint.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2021 (P) American Eagle Silver Coin is the classic Walking Liberty image created by Adolph A. Weinman. Liberty appears in left-profile as she walks toward the rising sun above a mountain ridge. She extends her right hand forward, and her left arm holds branches of oak and laurel. The American flag is draped across her shoulders as she moves ahead. The inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2021.
Reverse
The reverse of the 2021 (P) Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin displays the heraldic eagle design. The original concept dates back to 1794 with Robert Scot and was adapted in 1986 by John Mercanti for the Silver Eagle series. The eagle stands behind the national shield, grasping arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER.
History
The Philadelphia Mint has contributed to Silver Eagle production before. In 1999 and 2000, it struck Brilliant Uncirculated examples to support overall output. Beginning in 2001, West Point became the primary facility for American Eagle coins. Still, when demand outpaces capacity, other mints assist. In both 2020 and 2021, Philadelphia produced emergency issues to help meet strong market demand.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
