In 2021, the United States Mint has a special series of silver bullion commemorative coins planned for collectors. The date marks the 100th anniversary of the US Mints final issue of Morgan Dollars and its first-ever strike of the Peace Dollar. Highlights:
When you purchase the new 2021 (P) Peace Dollar Silver Coin through Provident Metals, you receive each coin with its US Mint packaging. The US Mint packages the coins directly in a capsule and protects the coin and capsule with a black presentation box. Included with the purchase of each coin is a Certificate of Authenticity from the mint as well. These coins are a product of the Philadelphia Mint, though none of the coins bear a mint mark.
Obverse
Lady Liberty is featured in the obverse design of 2021 Peace Dollar Silver Coins. This portrait of Liberty in left-profile relief was created in 1921 by Anthony de Francisci with his wife, Teresa, serving as the inspiration for his design. This effigy of Liberty depicts a figure with a towering crown that appears similar to rays of sunshine. The inscriptions include Liberty above and 2021 below at the rim of the design field. On either side of Libertys neck is the inscription In God We Trust. The unique inscription of the word trust appears just as it did on the Peace Dollars of the 1920s and 1930s, with a V in place of a U. The AF initials of the designer also appear above the 1 in the 2021 date mark.
Reverse
An American bald eagle is shown in peaceful repose on the reverse side of 2021 (P) Peace Dollar Silver Coins. The eagle is perched on a small rock ledge with an olive branch in its talons and its wings resting down at its side. Rays of sunshine emerge on the horizon, a symbol of brighter days ahead after the horrors of World War I. Inscriptions on this face read United States of America, E Pluribus Unum, One Dollar, and Peace.
History
Peace Dollar Silver Coins went into production in place of the Morgan Dollar on December 28, 1921. The Philadelphia Mint was the only facility to strike the coins with 1921 date marks and managed to issue 1,006,473 coins. The 1922 release included specimens struck at the Denver Mint with D mint marks and at the San Francisco Mint with S mint marks. The Philadelphia Mints 1922 release was the highest mintage in the series at 51.737 million coins.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
