History
De Franciscis design of the Peace Dollar came with the ancient use of a V in the text for the word TRUST in the phrase IN GOD WE TRUST. In keeping with the original 1921 design, the US Mint used this same spelling for its die design for the 2021 Peace Dollar Silver Coin.
