Obverse
Winged Victory is shown in the obverse of 2021 Proof Mexican Libertad Gold Coins. This depiction shows Victory at the top of the Mexican Independence Victory Column as she extends a laurel wreath in her right hand and clutches a set of broken chains in her left hand. This vision is inspired by the statue from the aforementioned column where Victory stands watch over Mexico City. Inscriptions on this field of the coin include 1/10 ONZA, ORO PURO, 2021 LEY 999, and the OM mint mark of the Mexican Mint.
Reverse
National coat of arms of Mexico is present on the reverse side of the 2021 Proof Mexican Libertad 1/10 oz Gold Coin. The modern seal of Mexico, this design shows a golden eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus as it battles against a serpent. There is an oak-and-laurel wreath beneath the eagle and cactus, with an inscription overhead of ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS.
