Obverse
The obverse field of the 2021 Proof Mexican Libertad Gold Coin features an image of the statuesque figure of Winged Victory. Based on historic visions of the Angel of Independence, Winged Victory came to life in Mexico with the construction of the Mexican Independence Column in 1921, a monument topped by this inspiring image of Winged Victory. Inscriptions on these coins read 1/20 ONZA, ORO PURO, 2021 LEY 999, and the OM mint mark of the Mexican Mint.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 2021 Proof Mexican Libertad 1/20 oz Gold Coin is a depiction of the modern coat of arms of Mexico. The seal of the nation consists of a prickly pear cactus upon which a golden eagle battles a serpent. The eagle has its wings raised with an oak-and-laurel wreath around the design. Inscriptions on this face of the coin include ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS.
History
Proof Mexican Libertad 1/20 oz Gold Coins debuted in 2005 at the Mexican Mint. This weight in the series has been issued each year since that point, with one exception. In 2012, none of the Proof Mexican Libertad Gold Coins were issued by the Mexican Mint.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
